Flag Football Belts
& Equipment
Flag Football Belts & Equipment is very
inexpensive. In reality
there is not much required. In order to play Flag Football each team
must wear “Official Flag Football Belts” that have “pop-able” flags
attached.
There are several different companies
that manufacture these Flag Football Belts and the styles are
somewhat different.
Check with your Local Organization for the Standard required
Flag Football Belt used in your area. Many times these belts are
supplied by the team or organization to keep the “standards” fair
and equitable.
Besides the Flag Football Belts there
is really nothing else required. However many players do wear extra
padding to protect knees and elbows. Player often wears Sports
Gloves to protect their hands. These protection Pads and Gloves can
be found Online for a fraction of the cost you would purchase them
at a retail outlet.
If you are playing Flag Football, I
would recommend that you purchase a study pair of shorts that will
not rip or tear. BIKE
or Russell athletics have “coaches” shorts that do the trick. They
will not rip or tear at the first attempt when someone grabs for
your Flag from your Flag Football Belt.
Flag Football in the Northeast or East
Cost is usually played in the fall months. In the September time frame
you need light clothing because the weather is still hot. The seasons usually go up to
thanksgiving time frame where the weather gets extremely cold.
Therefore a season change of Clothing is necessary. Teams competing
in State and National Tournament usually have their games in the
first and second week in December each year.
Players that play on a Competitive
team or at Flag Football Tournaments should be prepared to play 4-5
games in a row and 6-8 games over the weekend. It is usually advisable to
own several pair of “game” clothes, gloves, shorts, pants etc., so
that you are not stuck in the same outfit. In these tournaments winners
advance and losers go home. So prepare yourself to Win and make sure
you have the right accessories and clothing going into the
Championship Flag Football Game. |
